We had an absolute blast! All four in my family were able to get up on the board and experience surfing in a safe environment. The water was only 3-4 feet at the absolute deepest point, so our kids had no issues. Brian is passionate about teaching, and it shows in the way he runs the business. If you are new to surfing, or an experienced surfer looking to become better, Surfing Puerto Rico was the way to go! They were great people to work with.

My husband and daughters (17 and 13) thoroughly enjoyed their lesson with Brian. He’s extremely knowledgeable, personable, and clearly enthusiastic and passionate about what he does. He is encouraging and wants everyone to have a positive experience. It was fun for me to observe and watch, and next time I will join! April was also very nice and helpful. I highly recommend them if you’re in the area and have any interest in surfing.

Brian is a surf guru. He had every man, woman and child, including our 2 kids, standing up on the board and riding waves in less than an hour. The beach is beautiful, the waves are perfect and the instruction amazing. The lesson is safe, well orchestrated, and an incredible experience. Our kids liked it so much, we signed them up to do it again the very next day. I have never written a Trip Advisor review before but felt compelled to share this great adventure.

Brian immediately makes you feel at ease as he walks the class through the basics on land. Halfway through the class I was able to pop up and enjoy the ride. Thank you to Brian, April, and the wonderful assistants! One of the highlights of my Puerto Rico trip. My only regret is finding out about Surfing Puerto Rico on the last day of my trip, as I would have surely gone back for more lessons had I known it would be so much fun!

After 20 minutes of on the sand instructions and giving 110% I was surfing, meeting new friends and getting a great workout. Wonderful family run company. Brian as good as one can find zen surfing teacher. And yes, he really does remember everyone's name. April found her way here from Rhode Island! and keeps everyone happy and moving. Great experience. I would definitely recomend to anyone looking to surf in the area!
